NYC, Re:"Cymer has 60% of the worlds laser scientists."

I am long on Cymer, but this statement is complete fiction. There are a lot of laser scientists in the world and there is no way that CYMER has more than 10% of them. Probably less. COHR probably has more.

Nevertheless, having a lot of scientists is not nearly as important as having a few of the best.

As an investor I like to think that I fall into the value investor category. So the description of this period as being one of transition from CYMI being a momentum stock to being a value stock hits home. I never would have considered investing in CYMI above $35 post split. Unfortunately I got in too early at $30. Now I'll sit and wait.

If CYMI is in this transition period, might it make sense to sell out of the money calls until the story plays out and is confirmed? I have some covered calls on some of my position already. October calls are tempting since it seems like upward movement will be minimal until the earnings announcement. Thoughts?
