For one, not all liberals are environmentalists. For another, not all environmentalists oppose nuclear power, especially in the US.

When you find out that Patrick Moore, one of the founders of Greenpeace and Stewart Brand of the Whole Earth Catalog are pushing nuclear power, you begin to get a glimmer of exactly how stupid you statement about "libs" and nuclear power actually is.
