To all:

Well, I must say that it has been an incredibly enjoyable few months being able to learn and grow from each other's recommendations and experiences with candlestick analysis. My final quarter at my university commences on Monday, and hence, will demand my full attention for the next three months. I won't be able to comment as thoroughly or as often as I have tried to do in the past--I will for the most part take on the role of observer rather than participant, except in situations that I believe are of particular significance.

In a way, I think going back to school will benefit my trading, for it will allow me to better focus on only the more perfect trades--I've found that overly high participation on the trading desk very often leads to the execution of poor or unnecessary trades, for I always feel that I have to do something with my free cash. I think though that it is more a matter of being able to control one's emotions and exerting discipline. Pulling me away from the markets will reduce the emotional ties that have so often resulted in regret.

As a final lesson, I believe I have also identified my greatest cause for losses in the market: a lack of patience, and my greatest cause for success is my real fear of the markets. Combine the two, and you have an equation that calls for waiting for can't-lose circumstances. I hope to be able to participate again when I spot a trading or investing situation that will deserve more attention. At the rate at which I scanned and discovered other stocks, I've found that a perfect trade comes around once every two weeks, and a perfect longer term holding comes around once every two to three months. If anyone feels they've spotted one, I'm sure all of use would like to hear your pick.

So good luck everyone; please continue posting your thoughts and ideas to help continue making this thread the success it has become.

Regards,

Rainier Trinidad
