actually there is less risk not more risk since if i sold the march 30 put I would buy the mar 25 put. And, follow-up action changes the risk tremendously. between buying the 30 call and selling naked the call has the most risk but it also benefits in the runup better.
Most compnaies use naked puts to buy thir stk back and since they have been running run and not falling back and thus their puts don't get the stk , they have started buying calls 2/3's and selling naked puts 1/3.
but, if you sell the put you get the cash but don't partiscipate in the runup.
