Apparently Mr. Allen was arrested back in the 1970s. It could have been something as simple as a misdemeanor for drinking in public or some prank....but he won't say what it is (was), and there seems to be wild speculation going on. The speculation goes from domestic violence to worse..... This is all from the blogosphere and totally unsubstantiated, but because Allen won't open the files, the dems are going nuts. In his bar association filings he would have to have disclosed the reason for any arrests/convictions. The dems want those records! What fun, this campaign season.
