And good relations with Iran would help dramatically. No strategy can succeed without these components. We must cut and run tactically in order to succeed strategically. The United States needs to restore its reputation so that its capacity to lead constructively will cost us less. << Of course, I do not deny that the madmen in Israel and the US could do anything, but it would certainly not be in the best interests of both countries if they started a war -- or did another "false flag" operation, like 9/11, with the intention of starting a war.
