start with the assumption when you go to the polls -- any new law has a 99.99% probability of being a bad one. Someone must make the case that more law is useful -- so ... do something most people don't do -- READ the WHOLE amendment. Often they are misnamed deliberately to mislead you ... (I would add -- don't jump on the bandwagon to gore someone elses ox -- next time it will be yours??)
