The populists will vote for the politician they believe will fail, to reinforce their position that a totalitarian dictatorship is far preferable to "all this uncertainty and politics." They don't even have the shame to realize that the most effective populist in memory was Adolph Hitler.

Associated Press Tactic: They have declared the election over before they even have to fake any "exit" polls. The idea is to entice the REAL America not to bother to vote. It hasn't worked for the last 6 years-so they're giving it another try.

They are doing an impression of Monterey Bones. But at least he has the excuse of bovine-eyed ignorance...
