===> I'd argue that, not only do they have the fundamental right to self-determination of all people... <===

If the US pulls out, the Iraqi people would not have any possibility of self-determination. Without a doubt, the extremist Shiites, backed by Iran's oil wealth, would take over Iraq and create a brutal, dangerous IslamoFascist regime in Iraq.

Why do you feel that the average Iraqi family would have any possibility of self-determination? As it is throughout most of the region, the brutal, sadistic thugs take over and the average family suffers.

===> ... but that having EXTREMIST SUNNIS and EXTREMIST SHIITES fight each other to a bloody draw, <===

Nonsense. The Iranian backed Shiites would win very quickly. The question is, what would happen to the Kurds? Would Iran allow the Kurds self-determination, so that Iran and Iraq could focus their attention on destroying America first?
