But wait, the Qi will come swooping in from CDMA-powered cyberspace to rescue Metropolis from the evil-doing Neelie Kroes and her Kleptocratic Kronies [KKK].
It's the old story of good against evil. The KKK gang has got an apparent advantage, just as the Panzer divisions appeared to have in the early days. But in the fight of good against evil, the fundamental four forces of the apocalypse are aligned on the side of good, because evil can only exist once there is good to be evil against. The more the evil succeeds, the greater its self-debilitation.
Oddly, the KKK think themselves the good, just as Adolf and mates thought they were doing good works, clearing humanity of defective people and Jews and creating an orderly teutonic society, where all could happily call Sieg Heil to the master.
It's a peculiar thing about megalomaniacs that they really do see themselves as the harbinger of good. The KKK is no different. They would be shocked to think that people think that the KKK is the evil-doing gang.
Unfortunately, people are gullible and will believe the Big Lie [as Goebbels and co knew only too well], so they will credulously accept that the KKK is doing well, because superficially the KKK is acting in their interests. I'm sure many in Dresden thought it quite spiffing and splendid to attend the Nuremberg rallies and see the ranks and hordes all on the side of good. Afterwards, when Dresden was a smoking cemetery, the survivors probably thought it wasn't all that great afterwards. Same in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
I had better hurry and get my prototype Qi up and running, to oppose the evil forces of greed, megalomania, kleptocracy and destruction. People will need somewhere to escape to. -old is not a good place. But it'll be any port in a storm if push comes to shove. If -old is all that's ready, people will crowd in.
It's a race against time. The KKK racing to stop QCOM which will enable the Qi, which will destroy the evil-doers, so that the KKK cannot destroy Earthlings. QCOM has gained ground, but as they do, the KKK moves to strike the first blow, to keep people in thrall to the evil-doing KKK.
