Well, tom, this is only about politics. In the worst sense. Kerry let himself get outmanuevered and his Dem colleagues are saying to him, behind the screen, to do whatever it takes to get it off the front page. Think of this as not about substance or character but about language skills and the ability to manipulate the symbols. Kerry simply lacks it. Bush and Rove have it. That's what our politics have become. Well, at least for a couple of news cycles. With this one.
