I agree 100% with what you said. In fact I went in to see the teacher today. My dad was Superintendent of Schools so I know what a pain most parents can be. So I took a different approach. I asked her to discipline my son as if he was her child. I trust her and I want to keep him on his toes. I also asked her to challenge him more in academics. He's in 2nd grade and he's doing 4th grade math. I told her my biggest concern was him getting bored so we have to do whatever it takes to maintain his interest and keep him on the same trajectory. I don't want him slipping back to the pack.
