Ya know what I've been thinking about? An episode of Andy Griffeth where Opey gets his first black eye. It's a show the Nicholas and I used to watch together. I always called him Opey. The lesson of the show was that it hurts worse to run away and look like a coward than it does to take your medicine like a man. Kind of a simplistic, old school viewpoint but I'm kind of a simplistic old school guy. I gave my son the latitude for him to make a choice. Now I'm dying to see the outcome. No matter what there's a lesson here that we can work from. This will be a good learning experience for him
