Cabots buy was @ 35 he is already down over 20% andI heard Akins himself say that they have 60% of the world's laser scientist at The San Diego meeting.

One of my mentors send me this, (She is so good)
1) Cymer is meeting current production requirements. How will that be affected if INTEL does in fact move all their production into duv? Will supply still keep up with demand?

2) ASM now seems to have a real edge over Nikon or Canon insofar as the quality of their steppers is concerned. They are getting important contracts from all over the place - new ones being in the news almost weekly - & we don't know for sure, but it looks like they are totally committed to Cymer.

3) Cymer is projecting that at least 30% of future revenues will be generated by maintenance on the machines that are currently going into production (parts, training, etc..)

4) There is no way that Akins & Co. are sitting on their hands vis a'vis the other new technologies - EUV, Af, x-ray, copper, etc... Don't ever forget that Cymer has assembled the braintrust in this field ...... I keep coming back to this in my mind. It may be THE most important and valuable asset Cymer has, but it can't be accounted for on their books or projections and the wise-asses are overlooking it in their analyses...........
