you just explained why the apple stores are always busy- freeloaders like yourself without a laptop, looking for some free internet surfing time to check mail or do their business.

in the compusa in downtown san francisco, the apple section is always packed too, except nobody is buying anything- they're all standing around waiting in line to use the 8 macs that are set up with free internet connections.

free internet surfing drives 90% of traffic to ANY apple store.

---------
The Apple Stores, on the other hand, are packed almost every time I have been in one recently- especially the new 5th. Avenue store in NYC. Wow, what a stunning store! It took me 15 minutes of walking around to find a Mac open to work on for a few minutes. If it is the Apple Stores he was referring to, then I think that he misstated whatever it was that he was trying to get across.
