Great points. I think there is another factor as well. America has become very much a fast food society. We want it as soon as we order it, and we want it perfect. War is just not that way. It is ugly, it is long, and mistakes will be made. Does anyone really think that the wars of the past did not have such problems? It's just the way it is....and it's unavoidable. We had no choice.
