Well....that didn't take long. I got a call from the school about an hour ago. I have to go talk to the principal. Today that kid punched Nicholas in the face and Nicholas removed his glasses amd proceeded to beat the tar out of the other boy. I told them yesterday that this would eventually happen. Now I'm deciding how I'm going to deal with the principal. He's a nice guy and I respect him but I'm going to point out that my son had every right to defend himself. I'll deal with Nicholas in a much different way than I will the principal. I know I have to discipline him and discourage that kind of behavior. But honestly, when the school called and told me of the incident I almost said Good for him! For now I'm just going to think it and not say it to anyone. But I'm damn proud he decided to have enough self respect to defend himself. THATS MY BOY!
