Americans don't typically follow Canadian news or issues. No offense to anyone, but it's a constant joke up here about how ignorant most Americans are about Canada.

Yah, wee be ignornt. That is must be why the CBC isn't shown in the US any longer. That is why the GlobeMail charges for almost every article. 3rd world newspaper that can't have free web pages.

We remember Bre-X; we remember corruption of your last regime, we remember the Fr. language laws, and Chief David Ahenakew. Some of us even love Don Cherry and Elise Velle. Beyond that, the story continues to be: go to the USA...and so, the NHL, Peter Jennings, Pat Boland (short stint), Celine Dion, Cirque, etc. have headed south to the land of ignornts. Beyond oil, NG, Mad Cow, and few rogue polar bears, que pasa? Is Wendy Mesley still reporting for the 5th Estate?

Oh, many thought the Harper regime would reduce taxes on corporations...not attack the trusts. You assume the picture was clear. It was not.

Net-net, nothing has changed since yesterday. Trust owners were sacrificed to pay for NDP programs for immigrants, and the lower class. Soon Alberta will be isolated and made to pay for socialist inefficiencies. The banner of change will arrive under the flag of 'equalization' payments.

We have Iraq -- you have a mirror.
