Kerry's 1971 was very factual and accurate. He was just back from combat and speaking for dozens of other fellow combat vets who gave him their stories to tell. None of these stories has ever been debunked., In fact now it's common knowledge that everything Kerry was talking about not only happened, but happened hundreds of times in Vietnam, a lot of in the CIA's black ops Phoenix Program, which was a secret assassination program for which Kerry worked as a taxi-boat skipper, which killed thousands of village people. Theri favorite method of terrorizing was to decapitate the victims. The Navy SEALS and Green Berets were used by the CIAS for this and it's really shocking. That's when people over there knew the war had gone insane and was completely counter-productive. When we had become just as bad as the worst of our enemies. My Lai, ABu Graib and Haditha are other well-known US atrocities. But Kerry never blamed any troops for this, he blamed the policy-makers in DC, the armchair generals who were letting this happen and covering it up.
