Don't get too excited by that potential just yet, since China has some very tough time ahead in order to switch their economy from an export-dependent to a consumer-dependent one.

Another thing to keep in mind is that if commodity price goes too high, consumption is bound to go down. There is NO other way around it. Purchasing power is Finite after all.

Oil price is a good example.

Reminds me of some conspiracy theory that the US run up oil price in hoping to curb China's economy growth. But before China's growth comes down, the US economy is in danger of a recession<g>
