The pounding of these trusts has caused a lot of pain for many retired Canadians and US citizens. The Canadian PM, Harper, ensured people he wouldnt change the laws before he was elected. So whats new. Lying politicians are not unique to any one country <g. Will take some time to restore confidence. In the meantime - gold. sd
