You make some very good points. I hope to see more posts relating to this subject. Sorry that I haven't been visiting SI long enough to have seen your prior comments in this area, as your first sentence implies. You have correctly pointed out that my thoughts did not take into account the global investment environment. I need to examine this more.

After I submitted my post, I realized that perhaps I should have started another subject on this topic. However, I didn't know if I would be able to attract responses from you and others for whom I have respect based on their insightful posts.

However, the cynical side of me still suspects that "The Street" will continue the sham until the boomers have no time left to recover, and unfortunately, no <G> follows.
