Yes, he did and the service was beautiful. Everyone but the bride and groom are back home. They are still on their honeymoon in St. Croix.
The first thing I would have done after I got home from the wedding, was head for the groomsman's wife and yank all of her hair out, just to get her attention. That was way beyond reasonable....
When I talked with the boy last, he was talking about getting an attorney when he got home. I told him, I'm not your Momma but since I'm here and she's not, I think it would be wise to call your bank, credit card company, etc. and get those shut down asap, then call the atttorney. He said this was the absolutely the last straw. She's been on medication, in counceling refuses to take the medication or go to counceling when she's suppose to. They've only been married 2 years. He's a grown man, 29 years old. I didn't offer any other advise. I think he just needed someone there to be there and that was it.
How did you catch the cigar roller guy?
We were walking back from this area and the guy approached my 15 year old, said he was going to come with him and roll cigars, I told my boy to just keep walking, the man grabbed my son by the arm and said no seniora, he come with me, I said a few things, he said a few things back, my boy grabbed the guy and said no. The police came over and the man started saying more things, I screaming obcenities that I knew he would know, I went around my son, started swinging at the guy, he let go of my son and I started to jump him when the police grabbed me and said enough. No one got shot and no one ended up in jail so I thought it all ended well.
One time when we went to Bermuda, one guy wanted Robyn to stay and braid hair on the beach!!!
What goes through these peoples mind?
My 15 year old is a very quite gentle giant. He's 6 ft, 220 lbs. I believe he could have taken that runt out with no problems but the Mother in me kicked in and I just wasn't going to watch my son be grabbed in a forgein country without putting up a hell of a fight. |
