The one and only driver of Gold is emotion. To buy Gold because Ben is dropping dollars from a helicopter makes no sense, to buy Gold because Israel is about to blow Iran off the map makes no sense, it has never made logical sense to own gold, yet for thousands of years humans have been willing to risk everything to accumulate it. The question is going forward will people with paper currency become more emotional and unsure or will the world become a place that humans can feel comfortable with?
