Liar. Kerry spoke the truth in 1971, from his own experiences, but mainly from those of the VVAW vets, and all of their stories checked out when investigated. Every single one. During that time, as we hear on the Watergate tapes, Nixon had ordered Kerry "destroyed" by his dirty tricks team, (including liar smearvet John O'Neill) and also got the FBI to surveil Kerry for two years (the 1971 version of Bush's warrantless domestic surveillances against supposed "enemies") and after two years Nixon's tricksters couldn't find a single speck of dirt on Kerry, while the FBI concluded that he was a law-abiding "moderate" in the anti-war movement. Nixon ended up deeply respecting Kerry, and Colson apologized to Kerry from prison for smearing him. Now it's time for today's rightwing to apologize to Kerry, and the families of the troops killed in Iraq.
