Re: No benchmarks though ? That little blurb sounds too Hey, you're the one that asked if they'd been demoed. No one's suggesting they're shipping, yet, nor ready to ship. AMD has customers demanding (sometimes angrily) every chip they can produce - they're not feeling adventurous in terms of process. Street prices of AMD chips have been rising because of shortages. They can't afford to risk any problems with a new process and that itself is a risk. Meanwhile, Intel has a different kind of inventory problem, which makes them quite willing to try new process tweaks - and that can be a real advantage.
