Thank you for this excellent summary of the ASPO conference. Just one thing to add: The post says "How would you be living if the gasoline that gets you to work, the diesel that grows and delivers your food, and your heating oil all cost $7 a gallon?" -- Indeed, how would you? But for your information: the PRESENT price of gasoline in Norway (Europe's highest, I admit) is already $6.88 per US gallon.
In other words: $7 per gallon for fuel? No sir, I'm afraid it'll be quite a bit higher soon enough.
