You bet my man is Al Gore. If a credible Republican comes along that believes in small government, yet wants to spend big on oil independence, then I'll vote for him/her. Good luck on that though. If I have to disregard all my other political values and opinions in order to vote in a candidate that will focus on oil independence, then so be it. Nothing else comes even remotely close to the importance of oil independence to this country. I'd say if we don't get there, then we are putting our Democracy and freedom at risk. Everything else is a distraction.
