Rumsfeld is changing the US armed forces for the better and the stuck in the muds don't like it. It took some time since nukes came on line, but we won't be fighting the war of the Fulda gap. The lighter, more mobile force relying on air sure did a number in Afghanistan. On 9/11 I watched the news. Many running from the Pentagon but Rumsfeld was running INTO it to save people. They had to drag him away.
