Apparently you think those particular terrorists are important to your argument. I guess if they are captured are killed they won't be "free to continue to plot against us and to recruit and train new terrorists." Hmmm...

Bill is offering some suggestions for change and you are being flippant and glib. Bill's plan may be roughly stated (as one would expect from an ad hoc internet interchange)...nevertheless, it is much superior to endless naysaying against every single post or suggestion for successfully conducting the struggle against terrorism.<<

Wow. That is an absolutely bizarre construction to place on what I said. It's just so monumentally wrong, and shows no inkling that you understood what I actually wrote.

I already agreed, and in fact have said twice, that it's a lot more difficult to come up with a plan than to criticize. So we have no argument there.

But you say I'm being flippant and glib about Biil's ludicrously unworkable ideas for stabilizing Iraq? You didn't see where he said "LOL" to my suggestion of involving the U.N., and then himself said we should "order" the U.N. to take over?

My comments to Bill were, in fact, "glib", on one level, but they were also very directly on point.
