Tito & Dave: DRAM market is still growing. Everybody thinks that DRAM is purely used in pcs with 16MB or 64MB etc., etc.,. There is acute need for 1-4MB DRAM in other areas. Mainly in video card area, in media processing arena, in telecommunication arena. These markets are huge. Few examples, set top boxes uses DRAM pretty heavily. That ia a huge market. Any video card guys like S3 or any DVD guys like C-cube depends on DRAM pretty heavily. I dont think this market is shrinking. IMO there is a price optimization. But demand for DRAM is piling up. AMAT is well positioned for this scenerio. During Morgans conf. call he anticipated this scenerio and addressed this issue. He said that the demand from logic guys are pretty high. He also said that DRAM fabs are looking to upgrade their equipments. Therefore I dont have any concern about the drop in DRAM market.

Regards

Kumar.
