Redwood forests are pretty amazing. A good place to "find God". Most spiritual places I know.

Years ago, a group of us went backpacking in Sequoia NP. Sequoias are short fat redwoods; not quite as tall, but much bigger in diameter. On the way home, my driver stopped at the grove at the entrance station. He had a beer at the car. I went into the grove; only person there at sunset. Wow. He'll never know what he gave up for 12 oz. of beer.
