I seem to be missing your point. The first part of your post says that 95% of all American 17 yo's are stupid. Then you post that the military seems to be pretty well educated. In typical NYT deceptiveness, it makes no distinction between officer and enlisted education levels. Then you say (the NYT says?) that 19% of one year's Army enlistments are from HS dropouts, without commenting on whether they have a GED or not, or whether they are getting the GED while in the military.

Perhaps you could tell me what you're trying to say? Or can you?

Your concluding comment, about Bush calling Americans stupid, really puzzles me. What the heck are you talking about?

I think I understand, though, why you aren't a supporter of America's military -- you couldn't pass the intelligence test, and you're still mad about it.

Please make an effort to be more coherent in the future.
