<<The low skilled immigrants>> ... what era are you from?

how did they get in?

do you even remotely understand the hurdles that must be navigated and loops that must be jumped for mainland chinese to get into hong kong, as opposed to even nannies and domestic helpers from all other nations?

do you understand that the folks who run crowded brothels staffed with 'low skill' mainland prostitutes who manage to get into hk via tourist status are exactly the sort who bid up clubbed real estate deals 5 folds in 18 months post sars?

and you think california real estate is the cats mew :0))))

the continuing and progressively larger circulation of money is everything to real estate valuation, especially if to be supported genuine yield as opposed to simply cap gain, and hk is tiny, in demand, in the flow of things and money, from all directions, full stop

i have wagered with my wallet, sold (wood and plaster shack) in california and bought greater china (club deal)

now, why don't you short hk listed reits and buy california unlisted homes, to retreat from true capitalism and embrace genuine communism?
