what era are you from?

I came from the era way before HK real estate even started to bubble up in the 90's. Now that the low skilled immigrants assume they can be rich the same way as Li from HK real estate. Get real... the game is over.

how did they get in?

Are you asking me ? You better ask SAR immigration officials. How come some professional hitmen can hide their ID and sneak thru uncheck. Someone in the SAR government must be fired. The fact is a lot of immigrants are staying illegally using tourist visas hoping for amnesty.

do you understand that the folks who run crowded brothels staffed with 'low skill' mainland prostitutes who manage to get into hk via tourist status are exactly the sort who bid up clubbed real estate deals 5 folds in 18 months post sars?

Hopefully they don't bring sexual diseases to your club real estate. Watch out below when you are sitting on a public toilet. :0))))))))

hk is tiny, in demand, in the flow of things and money, from all directions

See the hype of "easy to get rich in HK" slogan. That's how rich people become more rich, and the new immigrants will lose their pants, based on this tiny supply demand premise.

now, why don't you short hk listed reits and buy california unlisted homes, to retreat from true capitalism and embrace genuine communism?

I don't short stocks. But i think California real estate is very attractive to the rich folks like Warren Buffets to swallow up some great bargains to his company. And I only see more "skilled" immigrants coming. They come, not based on the assumption of "tiny" hype scenerio.
