What we need is a return to checks and balances. Our Founding Fathers set up the government to check, balance and discipline itself. With Bush and the rubber-stamp congress and senate our whole democracy has been threatened. Especially when you add in outrages like Bush saying he can spy on any American without a warrant. Also, a lack of checks and balances creates more and more rampant corruption.
