I don't think the larger market players see the current bunch as some kind of 'national treasure' whose loss is to be mourned. I think they see the tremendous damage that has been done and have slowly but surely come to realize that the country needs to sweep the lot out of office and start fresh. When the actual results pour in I think the larger market players will let out a big cheer -- and by Wednesday morning the trash in Washinton wil be sitting where it should be, in the trash can of political history. Make no mistake, the new guys will have nothing to brag about -- at least not yet. But they at least will have a chance to show that they are made of better stuff. It is hard to imagine they could be any worse, and that is why they are going to get elected.
