Panl fans, article in The Economist, 9/27, on page 93. Not encouraging. Phrases like "fraught with difficulty," and "the team is trying to understand the process better." Prognosis: "They might squeeze into other areas of the display market [other than desk-top screen]." The writer mentions Dr. Forrest often; as to PANL, the writer laughs at the PANL marketing people who envisage the roll-up LED newspaper. Still, if it merits an article, one supposes that the possibility is taken seriously. Just not at the present time. I think I will monitor the stock, but it seems early to invest. Geoffrey Wren
