Most of them channel money back to their homeland. They do NOT import skills to HK. Go to Nathan Road Tsim Sha Tsui. See how many end up as security guards. That's not prosperity of economy, but just drag on to the problem demographically. There's not much R&D to speak of in HK that drive the economy. What happen if HK loses "gateway-to-China" status ? How many people can HK sustain ? 10 million ??? Don't kid yourself.
