Microsoft Depreciates Qualcomm in WIMAX Wireless Internet

Motivating the already-ambitious technology of WIMAX, Runcom Technologies just signed a collaboration agreement with Microsoft that gives certain mobile device users plug and play access to future WIMAX networks. So who qualifies for this wireless event, and what do they do to participate? The agreement targets those with mobile devices that run on the Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system, and all users must do for access is insert a mobile WIMAX CF or USB card using Runcom WIMAX chipsets.

It looks like Microsoft is onboard the inclusive WIMAX ship, which is another significant blow to EVDO-monopolizing Qualcomm...
