I don't like to repeat myself, but I guess you're not a regular. Haggard's accuser already failed a lie detector test. It would have been easy for Haggard to just deny everything and survive Clinton-style, but instead he admits to borderline behavior.

Anyone wrestling with temptation will step over the line quite a few times or try and come close to the line without "crossing" it. That's still bad enough for a leader of a national religious organization. Why do you want to believe the worst?

Comparing a double-murderer to someone who might have smoked meth or had gay sex? Wow, I guess hypocrisy is indeed a worse sin than murder. Larry Flynt would be proud.
