Read somewhere that Frank Sinatra used to go to Count Basie's club to hear Williams sing. Frank adopted a few of his stage mannerisms from him, like grabbing the microphone stand and walking around the stage with it. All the white guys up to that point would just stand there, Frank was the first to move around. Williams is one of the richest and most versatile voices I've ever heard. You are back! I trust they treated you well?
