Hi Dennis,

I will only be a medical miracle if you still hear from me through next summer. A defibrillator, in my case anyway, is just a backup for what I have. Until, by some miracle, my heart-rate becomes stabilized...it's still a guessing game.

The more I get to know about this company, the more I like it. Their service rep's are really great. I've had speak with the company twice already and they've been wonderful. Sometimes I feel like calling just to hear such a pleasant attitude on the other end of the phone.

I'm in two tech stocks at the moment and am leary(?) about selling them at the moment. They've both made some pretty good moves lately. I'm sure you've heard of Dell, and the other is CREAF (Creative Technology). I tend to buy strength and hold onto it for quite a while.

I really like what I see with Medtronic. They seem to be a virtual leader in life-saving technology. Not being real familiar with bio-techs, I have to continue reading about them...perhaps I'll switch from tech stocks to bio's.

I'll get to quit working in about three weeks, find a new less stressful field and in the mean time, will have the time to research this company more thoroughly.

Are you entirely in bio-techs or do you dabble elsewhere?

I'll let you know how my "Medtronic" checkup on Oct. 20th goes. All of this is quite fascinating.

Later,
Caroline
