Nokia is certainly the darling of the press. Today CNBC not only found someone to bash MOT, but to push Nokia at the same time.
By contrast, anyone on CNBC who mentions QCOM will be mauled with grim faced questions about the IPR legal actions against them. Yet while the Nokia pro was doing his promo there was no mention from CNBC about Nokia's admitted current infringement of QCOM IPR, Nokia about to lose its license to sell any CDMA products after April 07, Nokia's boast to ignore further acknowledged QCOM IPR after April, nor any of the QCOM litigation pending against them for damages and blocking of Nokia product. Instead CNBC was all grins and agreement.
