Why did the Ohio GOP insist on paperless voting machines from companies owned by Republican cronies, including Diebold whose CEO promised to deliver Ohio for Bush in 2004?

That is the real danger here, that our democracy has been lost to the corporate rightwing who owns the voting machine source codes. This is not mere paranoia, it's possible. No one has been eable to explain how Kerry's 4% lead in Ohio 2004 turned into a Bush victory in just a few hours at the end of the day.

Also, voting machines are breaking down or being sabotaged resulting in long lines. Dems are going to court to get the voting hours extended into the night-time. TYhis is a fight for democracy itself.
