I agree that that trivial news is not likely what elevated the stock today. Perhaps the numbers that you supplied yesterday, a new record albeit not by much, might have convinced a minority of folks that the scrip trend is for real... just enough folks to mildly tip the stock supply demand to the demand side... but who knows.
