CJ, I was just using simple math to challenge your $1.5B per day statistic. Multiply that by 365 days per year, and you come up with $547B.

In any case, I get your point. But that would be a tacit admission that raising taxes to cover the deficit would be akin to taking money out of the economy. The real issue, as always, is the size of the federal government.
