@Rink - Intel 2. The biggest support or call it confidence gives me, that Intel is loosing further steam in a healthy market. Volume was up this Quarter, pricing overall not superb, but relativly good compared to ugly past times and they clearly lost market- share in a big way. For STM it looks even more worse. It tells me, that Spansion's Mirrorbit was put in place 6-12 months ago (arrived clearly at market) and is now gaining socket after socket after socket. It takes some time, before we could see this progress just be- cause the old designs will not be replaced, so we had to wait and could now see (the slow) process. When you ask me, its just the beginning of more wins to come and I'm also pleased, that SPSN will do a refresh for the old 230/350nm parts, which will be produced at 110/130nm over time, which will drive costs SIGNIFICANTLY down.
Yesterday was a good day. Not huge volume, but relativly OK. I could see, that the smallest dip was bought yesterday and I'm wondering what changed compared to prior days. Is the AMD/Fuji transition at the end -> all shares placed? As said, I expected a share increase, if the offer is done and I'm waiting to see this happening with even (much) more shares.
