Solutions for intractable problems that may take many years to solve are no more the province of the shrinking violet, the fiscal conservative, the waffler, the do nothing and wait crowd than for the bold who take concerted actions that rest uneasy with the uninformed masses.

I don't predict the democrats have any better solutions for overspending government with locked in entitlements as guaranteed to bankrupt the government as any military spending program. The entitlement spending and the wasteful freebooting government departments, the not so secret support for unionized hijacking of industry profits, has come to us all courtesy of liberal democrats.

There has to be a balance between the extremes of philosophy. No one group has it right.
