re: I'm hoping the Dems will start taxing the rich and getting rid of the AMT on the middle class. In addition, I hope they get rid of oil company entitlements and start to tax the oil companies through windfall taxes in order to fund energy independence. I also hope they force a timetable for a withdrawal from Iraq. Everything still has to go through the WH and the Dems don't have the votes to override a veto. It will be interesting to see if the WH is willing to work with the Dems. The voters certainly sent a clear, unequivocal message... will Bush hear it?
